Lexus LC Hybrid

2018–2025 · Hybrid

This is a hybrid, not a plug-in: there is nothing to charge and one fuel economy figure, 29 MPG combined. The question worth answering is not what it returns but whether it returns enough more than the plain version of the same car to justify what the hybrid costs.

Straight from the EPA certification database, one row per model year, showing the best-rated version of each. Trims with identical figures are collapsed.

How this is worked out

Cost per mile is the gasoline price over the combined MPG, at the fuel price and mileage you enter. The comparison uses the best-rated trim of the non-hybrid version of the same car in the same year — comparing against its worst trim would flatter the hybrid.

Every figure comes from the U.S. EPA's public fuel economy data. We add no estimates of our own; a missing number shows as a dash rather than a guess.

Federal data has at most a handful of owners per car and nothing at all on servicing. If you own one, send what you actually get. It goes on this page with the sample size next to it.
